BUFORD, Wyo. -- A Wyoming town advertised as the smallest in the United States has sold at auction for $900,000. Buford is located between Cheyenne and Laramie in southeast Wyoming.

There are a few mistakes in the article.
The newspaper article says the town went away because the tracks were rerouted. Never happened. Tracks are still there today and there's some of the busiest that Union Pacific has. The mountains in the distance aren't Colorado's but the Medicine Bow of Wyoming. The town was once the county seat for Albany. My sources said it never had much of a population.
I'm going to double check with the Albany County Historical Society.
